(Aug. 28, 2025) &#8211; The American Board of Pathology (ABPath) is seeking qualified, board-certified pathologists to serve on our Test Development and Advisory Committees (TDACs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>ABPath\u2019s 13 TDACs span across the various disciplines of pathology. Each TDAC is composed of ABPath Trustees and other highly accomplished board-certified pathologists and physicians who are recognized experts in their fields. These committees play a critical role in developing examination content, updating Board-related materials such as Content Specifications, and advising the Board on subject-matter issues. They also develop and review content for ABPath CertLink\u00ae, the online longitudinal assessment for the Continuing Certification Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>While openings vary among the ABPath TDACs, there is a current need for new members<strong> to begin in January 2026<\/strong> on the following ABPath CertLink TDACs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"soft-line\">\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Openings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:95%\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Anatomic Pathology (AP) ABPath CertLink<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:0.25em;\">Seeking Subject Matter Experts in:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:1em; line-height:1.6;\">\n  <li>Hematology<\/li>\n  <li>Forensic Pathology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Clinical Pathology (CP) ABPath CertLink<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:0.25em;\">Seeking Subject Matter Experts in:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:1em; line-height:1.6;\">\n  <li>Molecular and Genetic Pathology<\/li>\n  <li>Lab Management \/ Medical Director \/ Patient Safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"soft-line\">\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered, applicants must be ABPath diplomates in good standing, actively participating in ABPath CertLink\u00ae, and have recognized expertise in the requested specialty. Members must be willing to commit the necessary time for training and meetings, content development, and item review\/edit activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Committee Terms<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>TDAC terms are for one year and may be renewed annually for up to six years.
