Cancellation deadlines are provided below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If a candidate cancels the exam(s) on or before the cancellation date, ABPath will refund the application fee minus a $500 cancellation fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:25%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Spring Primary Cancellation Deadline -February 15<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fall Primary Cancellation Deadline &#8211; July 29<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Subspecialty Cancellation Deadline &#8211; June 15<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:25%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If a candidate applying for the combined AP\/CP examination chooses to cancel one portion (AP or CP) of the examination, there will be no refund of that portion of the examination fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If the following occurs, a candidate will forfeit the entire examination fee:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidate cancels after the cancellation deadline date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidate registers for an exam(s) with ABPath and does not schedule an exam date with Pearson VUE by the scheduling deadline date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidate does not appear for the scheduled examination(s) on the scheduled exam date(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you choose to cancel your examination(s) you must notify the ABPath by email at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Mary@abpath.org\">Mary@abpath.org<\/a>&nbsp;for the Primary certification exam(s) or&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Renee@abpath.org\">Renee@abpath.org<\/a>&nbsp;for Subspecialty certification exam(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns container-border has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"background-color:#eff5ff\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>If a candidate cancels or does not appear for an exam due to personal illness or an emergency at the time of the examination<\/strong>, <strong>a written explanation of the emergency or documentation of the illness must be submitted to ABPath to be considered for a refund.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Documentation of the illness from the candidate\u2019s personal physician must be submitted on physicians\u2019 letterhead with the signature of the physician.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation must be submitted and received by ABPath within 30 days of the scheduled examination.&nbsp;Documentation received after 30 days will not be accepted.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The examination fee minus a $200 administrative fee will refunded to the candidate\u2019s credit card or by check.
