The American Board of Pathology (ABPath) has two sites for candidates to familiarize themselves with the function and format of ABPath certification exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The American Board of Pathology Virtual Microscopy Sample Exam lets candidates familiarize themselves with Virtual Microscopy (VM) technology used on ABPath exams. The ABPath certification exams use Virtual Microscopy (VM) technology for viewing microscopic images to answer select exam questions. Microscopes and glass slides are no longer used in certification exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The link below contains 5 sample VM questions, similar to what you will find on ABPath exams. Feel free to spend as much time there as you like to familiarize yourself with the functionality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>      2. The ABPath Practice Tutorial is provided to familiarize candidates with a general overview of the functions and features of taking an exam. The tutorial will take no longer than 30 minutes to complete and may be revisited multiple times.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
